We have hand-selected a small group of highly qualified tutors and counsellors who have mastery over teaching and helping students in the university admissions process. Our tutors and counsellors also need to have significant previous teaching and/or counseling experience and be very gifted, dynamic teachers. For example, majority of our counsellors have degrees from the most selective universities in the world.
We conduct our programs both online and at select in-person locations.
All our classes are live instructor lead classes. The classes will either be held in our centres in Mumbai or online. All our academic tutoring and counselling are only one-on-one. The AP, SAT and ACT classes could either be in a small group (less than 6 students) or private.
Yes! Standardized tests focus on a small, unique set of skills and topics. By knowing exactly what types of questions are on the test, a student gains a distinct advantage. Furthermore, a great tutoring company can build on this advantage by providing a highly individualized learning experience and a wealth of fantastic strategies for all types of students. We have the evidence from thousands of students across 10+ years that great improvement is possible for nearly everyone.
We expect our students to succeed; students who follow our instruction will see their scores increase greatly or get accepted into many of their target universities. In terms of academic scores, for students not already at the top of the range, we typically want to see at least a 20 percentile rank improvement (the actual raw score this translates to varies across the scale). Going from the 50th to 70th percentile or from the 70th to 90th typically opens up a whole new range of schools for students.
Our online classes are taught in a virtual classroom program that is live over the internet. The instructor and a whiteboard are visible. The students will view a lesson that is identical to a regular classroom with a teacher at the front of the room drawing on the board. Students can use the chat box to interact with the instructor and other students. In addition, the entire class is recorded and for future viewing if students cannot attend a session or need additional review.
