## Course Concept

AP Physics C is an advanced placement course that covers Electricity & Magnetism. It is designed to provide students with a deeper understanding of classical mechanics and electromagnetism, as well as develop their skills in solving complex physics problems using calculus-based methods. It is divided in:

- Calculus-Based Problem-Solving: The course emphasizes the use of calculus techniques to solve physics problems. Students apply differentiation and integration to analyze motion, forces, and electric and magnetic fields. This calculus-based approach provides a more precise and detailed understanding of physics concepts.
- Advanced Mechanics: AP Physics C Mechanics delves deeper into the principles of motion and forces compared to other physics courses. Students learn advanced topics such as rotational motion, angular momentum, and gravitational interactions. They develop a strong foundation in classical mechanics and gain a deeper understanding of the physical laws that govern the behavior of objects.
- Electromagnetism: AP Physics C Electricity & Magnetism focuses on the principles of electricity and magnetism. Students learn about electric fields, magnetic fields, and their interactions. They study topics such as electric circuits, capacitance, inductance, electromagnetic waves, and electromagnetic radiation. The course covers both DC and AC circuits, preparing students for more advanced studies in electromagnetism.
- Laboratory Investigations: AP Physics C includes laboratory activities to reinforce theoretical concepts and develop experimental skills. Students design and conduct experiments to explore fundamental principles and verify theoretical predictions. They learn to analyze data, draw conclusions, and communicate their findings effectively.
- Mathematical Rigor: The course requires a strong foundation in mathematics, including calculus. Students use mathematical models, equations, and principles to analyze and solve physics problems. They learn to express physical phenomena using mathematical notation and apply mathematical reasoning to derive and interpret equations.
- AP Exam Format: The AP Physics C exam includes both multiple-choice and free-response questions. The multiple-choice section tests conceptual understanding, while the free-response section assesses problem-solving abilities. The exam allows students to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in both Mechanics and Electricity & Magnetism.

### Our Tutoring Programs

### Get Your Queries Answered Here

- Who are AP Guru tutors?expand_more
We have hand-selected a small group of highly qualified tutors who have mastery over the sections they teach. Our tutors have significant previous teaching experience and be very gifted, dynamic teachers.

- Do I have to pay for trial class?expand_more
No, the trial class is free. No commitment or credit card required.

- Can I get more than one trial class?expand_more
Unfortunately, we only are able to provide one trial class. We are generally really busy and have packed teaching schedules; therefore, it will not be possible to set up multiple trial classes.

- Will you be able to work with students in North America?expand_more
Yes, we tutor students from all the timezones in the world. In fact, students from USA and Canada make up one of the largest cohort of our students.

- Can I pay in installments?expand_more
Yes, just let us know and we can set up a payment plan.

- If I have doubts or questions, is there someone I can talk to?expand_more
Yes! We have a first class support team who can answer your questions and doubts. You can WhatsApp us on +91 99202 00350 or email it to us at info@apguru.com.

- How soon can I start my course once I confirm?expand_more
We can usually begin within 2 weeks of receiving a confirmation from you.

- What kind of results should I expect?expand_more
We expect our students to succeed; students who follow our instruction will see their scores increase greatly or get accepted into many of their target universities. In terms of academic scores, for students not already at the top of the range, we typically want to see at least a 20 percentile rank improvement (the actual raw score this translates to varies across the scale). Going from the 50th to 70th percentile or from the 70th to 90th typically opens up a whole new range of schools for students.
