Attended both IB MAA and chem lessons, which were very helpful in improving my grades, and they are open to flexible timings and extra sessions if needed.
Ms. Kavita is very thorough with her teaching and tailors to her students individual learning styles. In Economics, for instance, she often uses real-life examples that are relevant to the student. Although I only joined AP Guru a couple of months before my final IB exams, it has greatly helped me to understand content and build confidence, and I managed to achieve a Level 7 in Economics.

Personally, I am a visual learner, so following along the teacher’s annotations and revising with the ppts helped the concept sink in. AP Guru was a huge help for me while preparing for the AP Precalculus exam. id say the amount of practice tests and mcq work given in the student folders were really helpful and prepared me a lot for the test. it was also great to revise each topic frequently. because when i went into the test I had most of the important stuff ready to write down and I was able to finish with a lot of time left to review and recheck my work

The IB curriculum is a hard one for students like me to face on their own. I was really struggling to keep up with my academics and also balance CAS, TOK, and my extended essay, however, AP Guru helped me make the journey as smooth as possible. From their wide array of courses that they offer, challenging mock/proctor examinations, and helpful homework packages, the AP guru team helped me raise my grades for each of my subjects once I started learning with them. One of my favourite parts of learning with AP Guru were their teachers. All of them came from diverse fields and had skillful expertise in their subjects. For example, my HL Language and Literature tutor was an IB expert and gave me personalized feedback on each of my essays, raising my English paper 1 grades from a failing 4 to a strong 6 in JUST 2 months! I’ve also struggled in SL chemistry, which is one of the hardest IB subjects. In spite of this, my chemistry teacher was able to explain difficult concepts to me in a matter of minutes and give me past paper style questions for homework to improve my skills. By my next exam, I moved from a 4 to a 6 again. The craziest leap however I made after working with AP Guru was biology, where I was once getting 50-60% on my examinations but then jumped to a 97%. It’s not only that my grades in my school subjects improved, but they helped me outside of the IBDP curriculum as well. I wanted to apply for Law in the UK but had to take the mandatory LNAT exam. AP Guru helped me create a perfect schedule with exams dotted until my exam date. And I got the highest LNAT score from anyone in my school and got amazing offers from the UK! The AP guru team isn’t just there to help you succeed academically, but aid you in succeeding in the long run as well. I would highly recommend any IB student to take a chance with the team as they always have your back no matter how dire the situation is. They believe in the potential of every student no matter how un-confident they might be. AP Guru’s team is full of true innovators who care about the next generation unconditionally. I wouldn’t be where I am without them, so take a leap of faith just like how I did a year back and watch your grades skyrocket.
