Taking Too Many APs?
Taking Advanced Placement (AP) courses in high school can offer many benefits, such as college credit, rigor, GPA boost, college preparation, and increased admissions chances. However, taking too many AP classes can lead to stress, burnout, lower GPA, less time for extracurricular activities and socializing. To find a healthy balance, students can start slow, be realistic, prioritize mental health, talk to teachers, stay organized, take breaks, and consider alternative ways to stand out in the college admissions process.
